Gusli

The Gusli is a string instrument that has 11-30 strings that are usually made of metal. Its one of the oldest musical instruments and is what the guitar is heavily based after. Its noise can be mistaken for a guitar and it is commonly used in Finnish folk music

Kantele

The Kantele is another string instrument that has 5-40 strings. It is also used in folk because of its bell like sound. Its usually made with birch even though most modern ones are made with oak. It is similar to a harp and is used in may famous orchestras. 

Kokles

The Kokles is a string instrument that isn't commonly used in modern times. The interesting thing is that you would have to be sitting in order to use the its because of its enormous size. There are many different types of Kokles, including the Kurzeme which is a instrument used I greek times.
